Zoo Trip

A few of our friends from Indiana came to visit yesterday, and we spent the majority of the day at the Zoo. I was snapping pictures all day. Here's some of the ones that came out:

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Camera

Recently I took about a hundred pictures of myself in different outfits for the sole purpose of doing some Photoshop work to the best ones. As it turned out, I ended up saying screw it and made a stock account on Deviant Art. Immidiately I made a friend and a jackass at the in the same day. Since then, I've uploaded weather, machinery and some Indiana Jones stock (I've had the Indy hat for awhile, lost it, and just recently found it), and I've gotten some great feedback already. Even though I've gotten an asshole or two, I'm going to continue making stock. I really enjoy it.

Here's the one cool person I've met doing stock so far

Photography 101

These were taken when I was going to STLCC (St. Louis Community College) in 2002. This was when I was given my first digital camera, and I fell in love with it. I snapped pictures around campus and at my house non-stop, and these were my favorite ones.

Art School Pieces

Here's my pride and joy from when I attended the Art Institute of Phoenix in 2001-2002, and its about the only thing good that came out of that school. I loved my Illustration teacher. He loved nearly any idea I came up with for the projects he'd assign. My best work from that class was the final; we were suppose to illustrate our interpretation of song lyrics or a poem. Sad to say I forgot to pick it up after the semester ended, so its lost forever.

Old Art

I'd thought I'd add my oldest, yet best (in my eyes at least :P), work first, so here ya go:

These are from my anatomy class from college back in 2003. I loved the class the second time around (I fail the first time because life got in the way), mostly because I had a great teacher. She was enthusiastic about what she did and gave her students constructive criticism, unlike most teachers out there who hate teaching and don't know the difference between being an ass and being a good criticizer.

First Post

OK, so here's my first real blog :D Either this one or my personal blog, over here, are going to be my main blogs. So far I have one other blog, but that ones personal. This one is all about my art!

I guess I'll tell ya'll about myself;

I'm 25 (nearly 26 come this August 29th!), married (and almost celebrating our 1 year anniversary!) and live in St. Louis, MO.
I've been drawing since my senior year in high school, 2001, a
nd so far my biggest strong points are this abstract way of doing portraits (although I don't get to paint much nowadays), and anthropomorphic art.
I also write too. I mainly write anthropomorphic stories too, not to say they don't include human characters as well. Currently I'm working on a story called Exodus and will most likely be giving updates that on here, in some way or another, as well.

Anywho, I'm going to try to update this as much as I can. Hope to hear from ya!
